Healthy Date Shake Recipe

I have used Medjool dates here. They are large moist dates (2 ½ times as larger than regular date we find in India) It's very moist and fruitful and extremely sweeter while the smaller dates available in India are a drier date and are less sweeter.
Ingredients
  • 3-4 Medjool or any regular dates, pitted [I always use my favourite brand Bard Valley's Natural Delights dates]
  • 3 C full cream or low-fat milk [vegan can use almond milk]
  • 2 tbsp almond meal/powder
Instuctions
  1. Before you eat whole raw dates, make sure to wash them properly. This is because dust easily gets stuck on the fleshy part of dates.Chop them roughly and pour warm milk over dates in deep bowl. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes so dates will be softened. Blend it nicely along with milk using hand blender or mixer. Ready to cheers!
  2. Serve warm or cold. I like it warm so I drink it immediately.
